I Maneskin in versione dark in The Loneliest

(Milano)- I Maneskin lanciano il nuovo singolo ” The loneliest”. E le immagini scelte per accompagnare la clip rispecchiano l’atmosfera dark-gothic della canzone. Il brano arriva a cinque mesi di distanza dall’ultimo singolo, “Supermodel”, seguito dalla cover di “If I can dream” di Elvis contenuta nella colonna sonora del biopic di Baz Luhrmann dedicato al Re del Rock.

I Maneskin hanno presentato il singolo a Londra, all’Underworld di Camden, in un concerto gratuito. “Ha una forte carica emotiva – raccontano Damiano David, Victoria De Angelis, Thomas Raggi ed Ethan Torchio – essendo una via di mezzo tra una lettera d’amore, un addio e un testamento. È quel che diresti alle persone a cui vuoi bene quando qualcosa di bello finisce. È un testo importante per noi: esprime un messaggio d’amore universale. La canzone è un modo per superare la mancanza di qualcuno e, in definitiva, la solitudine. Qualcosa che tutti hanno provato in un modo o nell’altro. Si sente la lotta alla nostalgia e al dolore fino al grido d’amore catartico finale. Fare questa canzone è stata un’esperienza di guarigione”.

The Loneliest è pronto a scalare le classifiche di tutto il mondo. Prima dell’uscita del nuovo singolo i Maneskin hanno pubblicato la cover ufficiale su Instagram e un piccolo estratto del video girato in una villa a pochi passi da Milano.
